The two story extension to the side
of the house provides space for a new bedroom, en-suite,
utility room and kitchen. In the rear section, the extension
becomes single storey with a vaulted roof and ridge
glazing to allow light through to the breakfast and
the kitchen. Structural oak tie beams are used to echo
the features of the original 1930’s house and
with the client’s choice of oak kitchen. |
