| The practice of Andrew Davison Architect was set up by Andrew in Shenfield in 1993. We specialise in all forms of residential work, particularly house extensions and refurbishment, new houses for private individual clients and developers, interior remodelling and conversions. Since the formation of the practice we have designed over 800 projects, mostly within the local area and therefore have a wealth of experience in the domestic field.
After leaving Brentwood School, Andrew trained at The Bartlett School of Architecture and Planning at University College London. He qualified as a Chartered Architect in 1981 and gained experience in architect’s firms in Central London before setting up the practice.
Branislav Masanovic joined Andrew in February 2002, as a RIBA Part II Architectural Assistant, having trained at the Kent Institute of Art and Design at Canterbury. Daniel Washbourn carried out work experience with Andrew between 1998 and 2001, while completing his studies at De Montford University, Leicester. Daniel qualified as an Architect in 2002 and worked in London before re-joining the practice in 2011. Natalya Palit also joined in 2011 as an Architectural Assistant, having attained her BA(Hons) Architecture degree at Sheffield University. Most recently, Darren Thorndick joined as Architectural Technologist. Darren gained his BSc(Hons) Architectural Technology degree at Anglia Ruskin University in 2011. Janice Lawrence and Janice Tingle deal with the office administration, having joined the practice in 2004 and 2007 respectively.
Over the years we have built up a very good reputation amongst clients and builders for the thorough professional service we provide. Our philosophy is to produce high quality architecture whatever the scale and value of project, so that each of our clients benefit from the range of experience, training and age range that our practice provides.
We can offer clients a full architect’s service from inception to project completion or a partial service to obtain planning and building regulations’ approval. The decision on which level of service to choose may be determined by the scale of the project or client’s budget. Please contact us for further information and we can then arrange a meeting to discuss the feasibility of the project.
